Bob Rosenthal (RAR) is an independent consultant who specializes in tailoring commercial publishing systems for his newspaper customers. He is an acknowledged expert in computerized typesetting and newspaper pagination. Currently his work is focused on building styles, formats and page templates within the EidosMedia M thode Publishing System.
RAR has been a computer programmer, systems analyst and consultant in the publishing industry since 1974 and an information technology professional since 1967.
He is currently consulting to Dow Jones Inc. and its parent, News Corporation. He is the designer of several successful systems for educational book publishing and was the software architect and lead programmer of the CSI newspaper front-end system.
